BASEBALL INSTRUCTION
Our 1 on 1 instructional sessions are designed to help players build a strong foundation and unlock their full potential at the plate, on the rubber, and in the field. Each session is 30 minutes of personalized, focused instruction tailored to the needs of the individual player.

Our group classes are designed to maximize development while keeping instruction personal. Each class maintains a 4:1 player-to-coach ratio to ensure every athlete gets quality attention. Players are grouped by age to create the best training environment. If a group is not full, limited drop-in sessions may be available—please call or email to confirm availability.
Enjoy unlimited access to our 5 full-size batting cages, fully equipped with pitching machines, nets, and balls for both baseball and softball. Our on-site staff ensures safety and proper equipment care at all times. Each cage accommodates up to 4 hitters per hour, providing a shared but focused training environment. Memberships are flexible, month-to-month, and automatically renew on your original purchase date. Cancel anytime—there’s no long-term commitment.
Train like a pro at The Sandlot San Diego with access to five full-size batting cages, each equipped with baseball and softball pitching machines, balls, and L-screens. Choose from a variety of time options to fit your schedule, whether it’s a short practice or an extended session. Our team is always on-site to ensure equipment runs smoothly and safety protocols are followed. Staff members are also available to feed machines or throw soft toss for added support.

Caleb grew up in Poway, CA, playing baseball and graduating from Poway High School in 2002. He went on to play baseball at Cal Poly Pomona from 2003 – 2006. He jumped in coaching the next year at 22 years old as the Assistant and then Head Freshman Coach at Poway High School. After two years he moved over to El Camino High School as the Varsity Hitting Coach in 2009. After one year he came right back to Poway High School in 2010 as the Varsity Catching Coach. In the 2015 and 2016 seasons Caleb was an Assistant Baseball Coach at San Diego Christian College. In 2017 Caleb went back to Poway High School as the Head JV Coach for two years, then took the position of Varsity Hitting Coach at Westview High School from 2019 – 2022. From there he took over as Head Coach at Poway High School from 2023-2025.

At the beginning of his coaching career, Caleb launched a club baseball organization known as the San Diego Crush. He was the Director of Crush from 2006 – 2017. The Crush ranged from teams between 10U to College Summer Teams. In the summer of 2022, Caleb was the Head Baseball Coach for the So Cal Shepherds, the Collegiate Baseball Team for the Fellowship of Christian Athletes. He currently works with youth players from all over San Diego County on hitting, catching, and overall defense.
Caleb is married to Nani and has four children, Noah, Dannie, Keanu, and Kaleia.
