Tryouts
Attend a small group tryout every week in May. This is a one hour tryout for the Sandlot Jets Travel Baseball team. Be prepared to go through hitting, fielding, throwing, pitching, and athleticism test. Catchers bring your gear.

Mondays and Wednesdays
4:30 - 5:30p
Wednesdays 5:00 - 6:00p
Thursdays 4:30 - 5:30p
Mondays 6:00 - 7:00p
Fridays 5:00 - 6:00p
Program Overview
The Sandlot San Diego Travel Baseball Program is built around a player-first development model, prioritizing consistent growth over a traditional team-only structure. Athletes receive unlimited access to small-group training sessions, allowing for more repetitions, individualized coaching, and steady skill progression. The program offers multiple pathways to fit each player’s goals, including competitive tournament teams, developmental teams, and a flexible option centered around weekly pickup-style games. Players train regularly and come together for competition, creating a balanced environment that supports both development and performance. The program currently serves age groups 9U–14U, with plans to expand as it grows.
